A range of table runners woven with 100% Herdwick in natural colours and hand dyed in vibrant autumn colours. Woven in double cloth they are strong and hardwearing.
This range I call Autumn on the Bridge as it was inspired by one of Ian Lawson’s photographs of Herdwicks standing on the stone packhorse bridge in Rosthwaite, Borrowdale.
Available in 2 sizes and either squares or blocks.
Can be hand washed – steam iron on wool setting and dry flat.

Pam Hall is a hand weaver, working mainly in wool from her own sheep. Her inspiration comes from the ever changing magnificent landscape of her local area, the Northern Fells of the English Lake District.
Fornside is a working sheep farm. Most of our sheep are Herdwicks, the iconic Lakeland breed. They are the hardiest of sheep well suited for harsh winters on the fells. The wool is relatively coarse but full of character and very hardwearing.
