I love sheep, I love weaving and I live surrounded by some of the most dramatic scenery in England.
Almost inevitably my passion is weaving with yarns from my own wool in designs and colours inspired by the landscape around me.
Pam Hall is a hand weaver, working mainly in wool from her own sheep. Her inspiration comes from the ever changing magnificent landscape of her local area, the Northern Fells of the English Lake District.
Fornside is a working sheep farm. Most of our sheep are Herdwicks, the iconic Lakeland breed. They are the hardiest of sheep well suited for harsh winters on the fells. The wool is relatively coarse but full of character and very hardwearing.
